Welcome to our suggestions page!
FRINGE WORLD Festival is presented by ARTRAGE Inc, a non-for-profit registered charity that is one of the oldest arts organisations in Western Australia.
We're a small passionate team located in Northbridge and we love seeing the city come alive during Fringe.
We're dedicated towards delivering a Festival for artists to shine and audiences to enjoy and at the end of each Festival we send out a survey that is anually completed by over 5,000 people. Through this survey we receive loads of great suggestions from our customers and artists about how to we can continue to improve and grow WA's largest cultural event.
Here we list some key things suggestions we've recieved over the last few years, and the improvements we are making in response to your feedback.
If you have your own suggestion please remember to complete our end Festival survey that will be made available in February 2021. Sign up to our e-news for notification on the survey.
Make it easier to choose a show
We totally understand that having over 500 events to choose from makes it hard to find something to see. This is why we've built our first app that'll be launched on 12 November.
The FRINGE WORLD app features handy functionality to make it super easy to find shows that you'll love. From scheduling, personalised show recommendations, e-ticketing, maps and our shake to find a random show - the app is APPsolutely essential to download.
The FRINGE WORLD app is developed by Perth digital consultancy Equilibrium thanks to support from Woodside.
Make the Festival go for longer!
We love how much you love FRINGE WORLD, your enthusiasm for more Fringe and our artists are so grateful for your support of their events.
If you're looking for more Fringe-y type things to do after the Festival ends you can join the Friends club for hot tips or check out what's happening at Girls School and Rooftop Movies (we produce them too!).
We recognise the effect on the environment we have as a large-scale public event provider. We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and implementing environmentally responsible practice.

Access and inclusion improvements
We're dedicated to creating the best possible experience for all visitors to the Festival.
We have an Access & Inclusion Plan that has resulted in several improvements including website functionality updates for accessible bookings resulting in an 87% increase in Companion Card tickets booked and 879 complimentary tickets given to Companion Card holders.
Participant fee changes
Artist ticketing fees are a standard Fringe festival way of contributing to some of the costs of delivering box office, ticketing and other artist services in an open-access platform.
We have reduced artist ticketing fees for lower priced show tickets in order to provide a more sustainable model for events and for the 2021 Festival we've removed venue registration fees.
ARTRAGE has longer-term ambitions to reduce artist ticketing fees, but this will require significant new funding from government or a corporate partner. We are exploring this opportunity, as reducing fees would deliver significant return on investment to the economy, to artists and to the wider WA community.
